Do you have an interest in public health and a desire to represent Pend Oreille County?
Northeast Tri County Health District is accepting applications from interested individuals to serve on the Public Health Advisory Board to represent Pend Oreille County. Members of the Public Health Advisory Board will provide key input on issues that affect the health and wellbeing of citizens and/or the environment.
We seek applicants that fit the following:
- Individuals who have related expertise and experience in public health
- Those who have participated in public health programs
- Community members that can contribute in a meaningful way
- Stakeholders such as non-profit organizations, businesses, and those regulated by public health
Interested applicants can learn more about the Advisory Board and submit their application through the Health District's website at www.netchd.org under the "About Us" heading. In filling the vacancy, the Heath District's Board of Health will select a member for this Advisory Board and the first review of candidates will be held on November 8, 2023. Northeast Tri County Health District provides public health services in Ferry, Pend Oreille, and Stevens Counties in a wide range of programs including the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program, communicable disease, education/prevention programs, and environmental health services.
