Fee Changes for Vital Records & New VitalChek Service
A fee increase for same day vital records orders at Northeast Tri County Health District (NETCHD) will become effective January 1, 2023. The fee for mail-in orders and all other existing vital records fees will remain unchanged at this time. In addition, NETCHD has partnered with VitalChek to offer an online ordering method for birth and death records that occurred in Stevens, Ferry, and Pend Oreille County. A summary of the fee changes is listed below:
Certified Copy/Noncertified Informational Copy (Birth and Death)
- Mail Orders - $25
- Same Day Service - $35
- Online (VitalChek) - $43
- Additional Copies - $25
- Reissuance of Death Certificate(s) Due to Error
- 1st occurrence - $12/certificate
- Subsequent occurrence(s) on same record - $25/certificate
NETCHD issues vital records from the Colville office located at 240 E. Dominion Avenue. Vital records are not issued from the Republic or Newport locations. Orders may be submitted to the Colville office by mail, in-person, and beginning January 1, 2023, online through www.VitalChek.com.
