Residents of Ferry, Pend Oreille, and Stevens Counties who are actively receiving treatment for cancer are eligible to receive fuel cards to help offset the cost of travel for radiation and chemotherapy treatments. The program is funded by private donations and grant dollars.
To be eligible to receive cancer care fuel cards you must:
Currently be a resident in Ferry, Pend Oreille, or Stevens County
Have a confirmed diagnosis of cancer
Actively receive cancer treatment
Travel outside Ferry, Pend Oreille, and Stevens Counties to receive your cancer treatment
Fuel card amount received is based on one way mileage to the treatment center.
