Kiosk for Single Sharps Disposal

Services are available for community members at all three Northeast Tri County Health District locations. 

One single used syringe may be deposited at time. If you have sharps in a container or plan to utilize the Syringe Services Program, please come inside during office hours for disposal, do not use the kiosk.

What are sharps used for? 
People use sharps to treat all sorts of medical conditions in the home with injectable medications. Sharps users may use lancets and/or needles and syringes to deliver medicine for conditions such as: 

  • Allergies
  • Arthritis
  • Cancer
  • Diabetes
  • Hepatitis
  • HIV/AIDS
  • Infertility
  • Multiple Sclerosis
Do Not Dispose of the Following

  • Aerosol Containers 
  • Garbage 
  • Food Containers
  • Liquid Waste 
  • Drug Paraphernalia or leave syringes or other items on or around deposit box
  • DO NOT bring in syringes from clinics or businesses
