Online Self Directed Positive Parenting Course Now Available
Self-paced, online curriculum for Positive Parenting. In this curriculum you will learn valuable skills and tools to build and maintain a positive relationship with your children, which will allow you to confidently approach parenting challenges without the use of bribing, yelling, and punitive measures. If you are stressed out, overwhelmed, and exhausted by constant power struggles with your child, and looking for another way to achieve peace in your home, this course is for you!
With the Self-Directed course, the program will be offering biweekly, live parenting workshop sessions held via Zoom meetings with renowned parenting expert Debbie Godfrey of Positive Parenting. Zoom workshops will begin March 2, 2022. See dates and topics below. Feel free to attend all sessions, or pick and choose which topics fit your needs.
March 2 - Enhancing Children's Self-Esteem - Demonstrates 10 methods of disciplining while instilling high self-esteem.
March 16 - Balancing Love and Discipline - Introduces the concept of firm and kind, unconditional love and the value of more action and less talk.
April 6 - Take the Hassles out of Homework - Lessen the power-struggle, teach responsibility and goal setting and learn ways to encourage and self-motivate children.

June 1 - What To Do When Your Kids Drive You Crazy - Alternatives to nagging, yelling & threatening and how to model self-control.
June 15 - Balancing Work and Family - Learn how to nurture yourself and your family so that your family supports your work. Find the balance.
July 6 - Parenting as a Team - Discover the underlying causes of a couple's disagreements on parenting and learn how to create peaceful resolutions.
July 20 - "If you Don't Stop Crying..." How to Handle Children's Feelings - Learn the effects of feeling stoppers and feeling encourages and how to work with children's feelings in each developmental stage.
August 3 - Teaching Children Self -Control - Within developmental guidelines, learn how it is the parent's/teacher's job to assist the child in learning how to control and appropriately express their feelings and desires.
August 10 - Tell Them What To Do, Not What to Don't - Create more cooperative, responsible children.
August 17 - Keeping Yourself Encouraged (And Spreading it Around) - Learn how to encourage yourself and those around you.
