  • Positive Cases: Reports the total number of lab confirmed PCR positive cases, Antigen positive cases and at-home reported positive cases in Ferry, Pend Oreille and Stevens Counties. While deaths are reported separately this number would include any positive cases that also resulted in death.
  • New Cases: Reports the total number of lab confirmed PCR and antigen positive cases on the specified date. This does not include the at-home reported positive case.
  • New Reinfections: Reports the number of individuals who have been infected with COVID-19 more than once. NETCHD can only identify people who have been reinfected if both their original infection and their second infection were diagnosed by a COVID-19 test and reported to NETCHD. Since many COVID-19 infections are asymptomatic and not diagnosed by a test, NETCHD cannot classify those individuals as reinfected. As a result, the number of people NETCHD reports is likely lower than the actual number of reinfection events. Washington State Department of Health provides additional information on statewide reinfections
  • Hospitalized: Information for the total number of cumulative hospitalizations for each county can be found Washington State Department of Health's COVID-19 Dashboard.
  • Recovered Cases: While we would like to be able to report on the number of recovered cases, we simply do not have a reliable or accurate way to track this data. Many individuals infected with COVID-19 show mild or no symptoms, will not require medical care, and are never tested. We do know that many of our confirmed cases are improving and being released from isolation, but without a uniform definition of the term "recovered" we can only accurately report confirmed cases, hospitalizations, and deaths.

Case by Area

Due to the high volume of cases being experienced in our tri county area, at this time we are unable to efficiently report this data. It is important to note that a significant number of at-home test kits have been dispersed among our counties and it is likely that disease transmission is much greater in all areas then what we can confirm. Please practice all precautionary measures available.

Cases by Age

The Washington State Department of Health COVID-19 Data Dashboard provides county-level information by age groups. Please see the Demographics tab on the below dashboard.
