Common symptoms of food borne illness include vomiting, nausea, and diarrhea usually within 72 hours of food consumption. Food borne illness may be caused by bacterial, viral, and sometimes parasitic contamination of the food.
If you believe that you have a food borne illness, please report your illness to Northeast Tri County Health District by calling: 509-684-2262, option Number 1.
It is possible to get food borne illness from home, too!
