Farmers markets are a great way to support local farmers, provide fresh and healthy foods to families, and bring communities together. Vendors who would like to sell unpackaged, prepared foods on-site will need to obtain a temporary event food service permit.
View guidelines for farmers market vendor and coordinators (PDF).
Not sure whether you need a food permit? See the permit exemption list (PDF), per Washington Administrative Code (WAC) 246-215-08305.
Currently, there are unique guidelines to operate a farmers market safely during the COVID-19 pandemic. Get the latest information on COVID-19 Guidelines for Farmers Markets (PDF).
